islandsIslands Restaurant, at Tustin and Walnut avenues, has made improvements to its interior and its menu in order to provide guests with new dining incentives.

On Tuesday (May 12), Islands rolled out new deals as well as placed new editions in its bar area.

Four new plasma televisions were installed, along with three HD receivers. With this new technology, bar-goers will be able to watch three different stations, coming in handy for the baseball season.

While watching the games, guests also have the added benefit of discounted drinks and food. Island’s happy hour has been extended an extra hour and a half, now lasting from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Happy hour deals include free chips and salsa, half off of appetizers and a dollar off of drinks.

In addition,  on  Tuesdays, with the purchase of an adult entree, two kids’ meals can be had for free from 4 p.m. until closing.

Islands is at 550 N. Tustin St., and is open Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., as well as Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
